I would consider it a very safe toy for any age. There are more "Flopsie" stuffed animals to choose from and they are all adorable.

This is an adorable Boston Terrier. I purchased it for my grandson and he loved it! Not only did it put it right up to his mouth, but he hugged it and even wanted it go up for his nap. (he is one). The quality was great, soft, and just the perfect size for a young child!
