It is really easy to use these. You cut out your old ballast .Hook up all of the tombstone sockets one one end to a black (hot wire) then hook all the sockets on the other end to the white (neutral) done. These led's are a cool white and are super bright for my shop. I also have used these in my basement and used the warm light color which is a softer color for the house. They have been installed for 6 months and working great.Update 1/14/19I picked up another 4 of theses led bulbs to complete the whole garage lighting to led. These bulbs are high quality.The glass tube gives it a solid feel. I have purchased another brand in the past and the cover was made of plastic.As I stated in my earlier review it is easy to install these. You cut out your old ballast .Hook up all of the tombstone sockets one one end to a black (hot wire) then hook all the sockets on the other end to the white (neutral) done . It was not the fault of the product as I couldn't find any instructions. I shook the box upside down just to make sure that the directions weren't in the box, but didn't find them. With the help of the internet I found some instructions to eliminate the fixture ballast, after burning out two of the bulbs, I realized that the internet directions didn't pertain to the type of fixture that I had. After my bad experience my wife found the directions that I couldn't find, on the floor under the dining room table. I then followed the directions and the fixture and bulbs work very well. (***** star purchase nice and bright) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really brightened the kitchen and lowered our energy cost *by O***N on Reviewed in the United States on January 10, 2019* These tubes were to convert a 4 tube ceiling light in our kitchen from fluorescent to LED. We were tired of replacing the bulbs and hoped to save a little on the electric usage as well. The bulbs arrived quickly and in good shape. The conversion instructions for bypassing the ballast were clear and easy to follow. That process only took about 5 minutes. The lights are much brighter than the fluorescent ones and it gave the kitchen a bright and clean look. We've had the bulbs for about 6 months and have had no problems.
