The cut, color, and clarity matched the description posted on Amazon, but the total carat weight was a full one quarter less! The appraisal that came with the ring was a full 50% more than the appraisal from the jeweler.Message from 3rd party seller:I can guarantee that the diamond weighs exactly what the appraisal says because it is a GIA certified diamond. My suggestion would be to go to an independent gemologist and they will verify the diamond is what we sold you.Dear sirs:The center stone IS the correct weight.The total carat weight is what is short by .25. [Instead of 1.8 total carat weight it was measured by a GIA Gemologist at 1.55.]I do NOT wish to publish a negative report. I am simply letting you know that the appraisal I received from you and from the independent GIA certified gemologist I used are quite a bit different, on both weight and value.
