Making a mix tape of modern songs was half the fun of listening to cassette tapes but I will say this little guy does earnestly have some awesome playback. It's also small enough that it fits in a bag or even a larger jacket pocket no problem. For the most part I'd say it's pretty sturdy too. I wouldn't ever recommend you do a drop test or something but it's been knocked off my desk a couple times and it's still kept going. It's honestly incredibly easy to use too. You get a feel for all the buttons since the play button and stop are different sizes and shapes so I had no problem stopping music to answer a call or reply to a question and restarting my music without issue. I was honestly really surprised by the packaged in headphones too. Typically included headphones offer garbage audio and as an audiophile I figured I'd just toss em out, but honestly in a pinch they're not bad at all. I'd never choose them over a good pair of open back backs, but they punch above their weight class.
