She likes these extremely well. Keeps ice cream cold while travelling between stops (up to 30 minutes). Well insulated. Zipper topped seal. Would buy again if we need more for cold storage. No idea on hot items, but would probably yield same result. Sides are flimsy and of same material as sides.
