At 5'11-1/2", it's hard for me to find pants and skirts that are stylish, fit well, and long enough. This skirt is everything!First, I LOVE the color. It's just as pictured - a deep blue/purple. The pockets are FANTASTIC for travel. They don't stick out so add no width to my hips but are convenient and deep enough to securely hold keys, change, credit card, etc.Second, the fit is great. It's made of heavy t-shirt material so is stretchy. There is an additional hidden elastic right at the waist and, while snug, it doesn't cut into my waist uncomfortably. (My waist is larger than a size 12 and I ordered a Large. I typically wear a 12 or 14 in pants and skirts.)Third, the draping is beautiful and the fabric feels really good. This would be perfect to wear while travelling, to dinner, to a beach party. I'm 5'7" and about 135 lbs. I've been looking every where for a long black skirt. It's just the right length for me, but it could be adjusted for someone taller or shorter. The material is just heavy enough NOT to be see through. The pockets are a real bonus. It doesn't make me look chunky which is an even bigger bonus! My only complaint is that it doesn't come in brown. ) :"I can no longer complain that it didn't come in brown and everything I said about the black skirt applies to the brown one. I took them on a 2 week trip. They pack well (Take up very little space!) and all I had to do was hang them up to get most of the wrinkles out. Now I can say, "Love them, love them, love them!"
