My 2yo son likes that it's a duck and I like that it is small enough for his bottom, but big enough for back-end business. We have an oval toilet and it fits on without problems. The orange around the center is rubberized and he doesn't have any issues sitting for an extended period of time. The sides have hand holds to help stabilize themselves (or help push it out) but we have never used them.The only downside is with a boy, sometimes he pees under the seat, but since since it doesn't get on him, I just wipe up after as I put it away.
