    Frying flashlights?

I purchased these for use with a Duracell 1000 lumen flashlight.  The flashlight takes 4 C cells.  As soon as I put these batteries in the flashlight and turn it, the flashlight burns out.  Have no idea why this is happening.  Must be a regulator circuit or something in the flashlight is somehow getting fried .  But, I've now had this happen with 3 flashlights.  All worked fine on standard alkaline C cells.  As soon as I put these in and turned on the flashlight, it's gone.  I've reached out to the seller of the batteries to see if they will replace the batteries.  But, for now it's $30 in batteries down the drain.  Interestingly, the batteries measured a standard 1.2V and still gave this result.  Really odd.  I thought it was the flashlight initially.  Maybe it has something to do with these being "deep cycle" batteries?The seller has contacted me.  I will update if resolved.

    Advertised Rating is Exaggerated, But Price is Okay

I'm getting about 4600mAh on my charger.  That's within 10% of advertised and my charger isn't a calibrated piece of equipment so I won't knock off two stars.  Also the price is reasonable.  If there was a 3.5 that's what I'd give these batteries.Otherwise they work like a rechargeable should.

Battery is longer than a normal C size, it will not fit as is...I had to tap a dimple in the negative side so all 6 batteries could fit in the compartment.  If you try and force them in you will end up damaging you battery compartment. Wish they could measure more accurately.
