There are no visible lights or sounds when taking pictures or videos. The led flash at night is also invisible to the naked eye. **Q: I need to make sure no person can see this camera at night. are the 42 no glow leds visible to people?** A: UPDATE: ever since mid-December 2018, this camera features low-glow LEDs instead of the no-glow ones, and they ARE more detectable now! **Q: Why does this camera only take 999 pictures. it stops every time at 999. memory card is only at 23%. is there a setting i can change?** A: The software file system is limited to 999 files per folder. When the file count reaches 999 files in one folder, the system will create another folder and continue saving your files. LCD screen indicates a number of files in the current folder selected. The camera doesn't stop taking pictures, though. **Q: I know this was somewhat covered already but is it true you cannot use rechargeable batteries at all w/ this?** A: I don't know I have not tried. But I did use regular alkaline batteries. I left the camera set up for over a month with 151 pictures taken.
