Yes, that's right, it lasted 17 years. It could probably be repaired but since leaving the EU, organising repairs is much more costly. It made economic sense to buy a new one. Incidentally, the manufacturer no longer produces this model either. I consider this one to be the best performing and most consistent of the Volcano's. A robust and consistent product.
