It's perfect for tailgating or going to a drive-in. If you enjoy drive-up camping, it's great for sitting by the fire. I look forward to 4th of july this year. My only complaint is the assembly hardware: why they decided to use nuts and bolts to assemble a system that is supposed to be a quick setup and year-down is beyond me. I ordered 6 spring-clip pins (the kind you use to lock a trailer hitch onto the ball) and it makes setup much faster and easier (and it doesn't require tools). I added a splitter and a cargo rack to put food and beverages within arms reach. EDIT: after a few days of use, the base mount cracked while I was sitting in it (I'm nowhere near the 300 lb weight limit) and I suddenly found myself sitting on the ground. I contacted Amazon and they sent me a replacement right away. I have not had any issues with the replacement. (It looks like an upgraded version from the first one.
