I purchased one of these to test and play with with plans to store in my cats and at my church. It's very hard to tell the difference on a quick glance from others other than seeing no manufacturer date. It feels like good quality. The real issue is will it work when your life depends on it. As long as it gets tight without breaking it's a good tourniquet. I put a towel around a foam roller to simulate a leg and I cranked on it as tight as I could. I had the windless bending the same way other brands to before you get tight enough to ain hemostasis. In the end I saw no signs of failure or excess stress. This tourniquet uses a windlass system and very adjustable. I do think its a great tourniquet and works well but you need to know how to use it in the proper manor.It is adjustable enough to go around a small arm all the way up to a pretty thick thigh. This gives it a great rang.
