It comes right slightly above the floor. I can wear flats with this length and be fine. Anyone who is shorter should reconsider or get the length altered as I would imagine the length would be too long. It fits well and I love the pockets! My only gripe is when I walk my stride is limited due to the smaller opening at the bottom of the dress. Even when stepping in and out of my car I have to lift the dress up in order to do so. It's made of a good thick cotton type material, the length is perfect (comes to the bottom of my ankles (I'll be sure to hang dry so it doesn't shrink), and the elastic waist helps to conceal my belly.I think the 2 best features of this dress, though, are the fact that I can wear a NORMAL BRA with it, and that it has POCKETS!!!! I pretty much only buy dresses with pockets now, because carrying a purse is stupid.
