Review: NICE Large Infuser - This works great for coffee or tea. The infuser is really large and long. I like that it is deep in the teapot for better coverage. I drink a lot so it's just right for me. I bought this as a replacement for the old infuser I had. The problem with these types of infusers is that the rim is attached to the mesh base with as few as 4 tiny pin-sized spot welds. That is not much to hold them together. When you go to remove the wet contents that are stuck by knocking it against the waste can it breaks the welds over time, so the rim comes off. Now I have to carefully scoop out the contents with a spoon and wipe out the remains with a tissue or cloth. I would not try the glass over the stove. I boil the water separately and pour over the infuser. I have a little one too. Both are handy.

This works great for coffee or tea. The infuser is really large and long. I like that it is deep in the teapot for better coverage. I drink a lot so it's just right for me. I bought this as a replacement for the old infuser I had. The problem with these types of infusers is that the rim is attached to the mesh base with as few as 4 tiny pin-sized spot welds. That is not much to hold them together. When you go to remove the wet contents that are stuck by knocking it against the waste can it breaks the welds over time, so the rim comes off. Now I have to carefully scoop out the contents with a spoon and wipe out the remains with a tissue or cloth. I would not try the glass over the stove.
