If it's fiberglass sheeting then it will work. **Q: Can the sensor be placed outside in the garden** A: As far as I know the sensor is somewhere nside the unit and responds to any movement in all directions inside and outside the house. I have not used my unit because it responds to movement inside the house too. I think the barking sounds like a recording. Not real. **Q: If you use this when your out of town does it reset once movement stops ?** A: Yes, it will be active for 15 seconds at a time. If after the first 15 seconds, movement is no longer detected, it will stop. **Q: Is there a solution if the unit doesn't respond to the remote (that works perfectly with another unit)? Buttons work but the remote is quite useful :/** A: I am sorry that I don't know why your unit doesn't respond to the remote.
