But in regards to lignin, pvc or what grade it is sorry not sure. I can tell you we have not noticed any issues with any of the items we placed inside of it, & it has been a few months since we 1st started using it. **Q: how do you open the plastic film?** A: It just opens like any book page. I think you mean how do you open the plastic film to insert a picture. Just find a small tab on the right side of the page and peel back. Arrange pictures and return the film in place. **Q: Does the grey album have a window in the cover?
