Very grade-appropriate for 2nd and 3rd grade. Going to use it as an extra phonics practice and skills maintenance, just a page a day, for 2 summers, along with a generic summer practice book for all subjects, after 2nd and 3rd grade. Looks perfect for the level we're currently at, with a bit more challenge also for next summer. I'm extremely picky about the workbooks I buy for my kids, as I used to teach elementary special education and now homeschool one of my kids, and this passes for sure!
