Product Description Pepto-Bismol 17.5 mg/ml Oral Suspension provides relief for five common digestive issues: Nausea, Heartburn, Indigestion, Upset Stomach, and Diarrhoea. Pepto-Bismol can be taken at the first signs of symptoms for effective relief. Each dose of Pepto Bismol contains Bismuth Subsalicylate, a well researched active ingredient that works by coating your stomach and lower gut to relieve discomfort from overindulgence in food and drink. How to use: Dosage: Take 1 dose (30 mL) every 30-60 minutes as needed, up to 8 doses in 24 hours. Safety warnings: Not for children under 16 years of age. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Do not use for more than 2 days except on the advice of a doctor. Keep all medicines out of reach and sight of children. Ingredients 525 mg/30 ml Bismuth Subsalicylate. Also Contains Sodium, Benzoic Acid (E210) And Amaranth (E123) Directions Adults and Children 16 years and over only. Shake the bottle well before use. For oral use only. One dose of Pepto-Bismol is 30 ml. Pour 30 ml of product into the cup provided and swallow. Repeat dose every 30-60 minutes if needed. Do not take more than 8 doses in 24 hours. Do not exceed the stated dose. Do not take for more than 2 days. Only use as directed. I find it doesn’t work the best for heartburn, so stick to Rennie or Gaviscon for that, but for any wind, indigestion or upset tummy, this is the product for you. Great product for any kind of tummy upset. I find it doesn’t work the best for heartburn, so stick to Rennie or Gaviscon for that, but for any wind, indigestion or upset tummy, this is the product for you. Some comment on the taste not being great however I think this is down to personal preference as to me it tastes great! (Kind of tastes how Germolene smells). Great sized bottle which is portable, easy to pour out the correct measurement in the cap and works quickly as intended. I will always make sure I have this stocked in my medicine cabinet!
