The mount that was included would have been good for an indoor wall or ceiling applications but not for outdoors. I searched the internet and found this LEFTEK mount here on desertcart. It was exactly what I needed. It is watertight, easy to mount and a lot of the cable is easily stored inside the bracket. The bracket is constructed out of aluminum and is made well. The dome camera attaches to the bracket with 3 screws that are included. You then put some plastic plugs over the mounting holes and the bracket is then watertight. I would definitely recommend this LEFTEK bracket for anyone who wants to install a Mini Dome Camera outside. Review: Be careful about use with non-Leftek cameras - I was looking for a mounting bracket for JideTech and Alptop mini dome PTZ cameras, and this Leftek product was recommended. While it's sized correctly, and the mounting holes line up with those on the cameras, it turns out that those non-Leftek cameras end up with their respective "blind spot" positioned out in the normal part of the panning range of motion. You'd obviously want a camera's blind spot to be facing the bracket itself so as to maximize the usable range of panning motion. I don't have a Leftek camera, but assume they have designed both camera and bracket to assemble with the blind spot facing directly at the bracket as it should be. Otherwise, the bracket seems of good quality and should hold up longer than a plastic alternative as plastics usually become brittle with age. Buyers who are thinking of pairing this bracket with a non-Leftek camera should be aware of a possible camera positioning issue. Made of metal seems well made. I'm using it outside and it gets hot in summer and cold in winter it holds well there is enough room to stuff the cables of the camera inside this unit.
