## Description

Product description

Review: great product. - strong, simple and the hook to hold the tension by looping it around the spokes - genius.
Review: Won't break, avoids pinches, and does pop off tight tires - Some combinations of rim and bike tire come apart quite easily. You deflate the tube if not already deflated, push in the stem (unscrew the knurl on presta valves) to take away possible pressure from the reinforced tube around the stem, push in on the tire next to the rim on one side all the way around to move the bead off the ridge and into the center of the rim which is slightly deeper, then you use the resulting space to pop the bead over the rim near the valve stem (since the other side has more freedom to fully move into the center of the rim without obstruction). But some combinations of rim and tire are quite tight! Then you need leverage, preferably without pinching the tube and ruining it. Plastic levers with a little curl on the end to catch the tire bead do the trick. If they are thick, they weigh a tiny bit more, but they don't break and are easier to hold. When it's really tight, you may need to place one, hooking the other end around a spoke, then add a second or even a third tire lever. These levers were well-priced and do the trick. They did not exactly press together for storage as a group when not in use like the park tool version, if that matters to you. There was enough variance that sometimes they popped back apart after being stacked together, at least in the ones I received. I have various ones of these, but I like to take several in each bike bag in case I need to remove a tire on a ride. These work well enough to be my first choice at home in the shop as well.

## Features

- PRO BIKE TIRE LEVERS SINCE 2015: Relied on by millions of cyclists and bike shops for easy tire removal and installation; ideal for all types of bicycle wheels: road, MTB/mountain, gravel, and e-bikes, with tubes or tubeless setups; compact, lightweight tire irons clip together for saddle bag carry or professional shop use; bright colors are easy to spot in your bike tool kit
- FOR SUPER TIGHT TIRES: Makes removing and installing tight-fitting tires easy; stubby chisel tip pops under stubborn tire beads, locks in place, then lifts the tire up and over the rim as the lever pivots on a built-in fulcrum; short tip and rounded corners help avoid tube pinching

## Questions & Answers

**Q: One end is obviously for sneaking under the tire bead & prying, but for what is the other end?**
A: Great question! The other end is a spoke clip. It clips on to your spokes so the lever can stay in place to hold the bead over the rim. A second lever can then be used to work the bead over the rim as you go around the wheel. Otherwise, the bead tends to fall right back inside the rim after you've moved to a new spot. Some people just hold the bead over the rim with their thumb and go around the rim with one lever.

We get a few returns with broken spoke clips that were obviously used for prying. The spoke clip should never be used to pry with, it is not designed to take that kind of force.

**Q: Are these good levers for road bike tires?**
A: Used on 700/40c knobby road tires worked great just don’t go to far they will break . Mine didn’t, just remember there plastic use accordingly

**Q: Would this work to get the tire off a onewheel hub?**
A: After looking up changing the tire on a OneWheel and reviewing a YouTube on the subject. I would say no. I suggest a web-search: how to change the tire on a OneWheel. This should point you in the right direction for the tool(s) you'll need

**Q: Are these even worth opening the package to use on a 4" wide 20" ebike tire?**
A: I found they worked well on my huffy, 26x1.95 sized tires

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Got the job done
*by R***R on July 6, 2020*

These levers are strong and are well enough designed, with the small hooked end, to get the job done. I was able to mount two notoriously difficult tires (Continental Contact Plus 700x32) with these levers. However, not without an immense amount of difficulty. I had to seriously put every last ounce of strength I had into it and it's also a miracle I didn't pinch the tube given how aggressively I had to manhandle the wheel. There's no way I will ever be able to do a roadside tube repair with this setup and I dread the day I next have to dismount and remount either of these tires. For most people these will do just fine but if you know you've got a tight fit you may want to consider different options. Based on my recent experience I have a better idea of what the tool needs to do for these tight beads I'm dealing with. I'm going to buy a bead jack next as that seems necessary with these tires. Also, after browsing around some more online I think I've identified a couple of other tire levers that I'd like to try. I think there might be better levers out there but these got the job done.
