Taste is perfect, strong flavor but not too strong (got the sea salt & cracked pepper). Texture is great, it’s soft and moist, not rock hard like some jerky brands. Had about 1/3rd of the bag and so far great product, already ordered more

A: Tallamook Honey Glazed beef jerky does not list soy in ingredients.  If soy was included, it is expected that it would have been listed.

**Q: How long is the shelf life? When did you buy yours and what is the expiration date?**
A: I"ve never had a bag long enough to worry about any kind of expiration date!  However, that being said, new bag arrived today has expiration of 6/24/21, if that helps!

**Q: Does Tillamook use nitrates or nitrites in their jerky?**

I’ve had a good amount of jerky in my time, some good some not so good. Just got a fresh bag of this stuff, opened it up, and all I can say is d*mn this is good!!! Taste is perfect, strong flavor but not too strong (got the sea salt & cracked pepper). Texture is great, it’s soft and moist, not rock hard like some jerky brands. Had about 1/3rd of the bag and so far great product, already ordered more

I will preface this review by saying two things first about my jerky preferences, I like it chewy, not stiff, and I like it just exploding with amazing flavor. That being said, I tried several of the top rated beef jerky brands/ flavors over the last few weeks, this one included. I will say that the texture of this beef jerky was THE BEST of all. Flavor fell a little short though. It's good, but not "wow" or "omg" good, just decent. The Chef's Cut Jerky here on amazon is softer than this, even though this is very soft and I liked it's texture best, the chef's cut is almost TOO soft, but the flavor in the Chef's Cut jerky's are VERY good. Truth be told though, I will only start buying my jerky from a local vendor here out of DFW Texas that just blows everybody away. They deliver nationwide, check out SAAP Lao Kitchen Jerky if you get a chance Hands down THE BEST BEEF JERKY you will ever eat, and I am VERY PICKY about my jerky, see rules 1 and 2 above. But this is a solid choice with the Tillamook brands.
