Photo shows it next to an 18k gold plated necklace, along with a brass coin for comparison. It is slightly redder than real gold but is still closer than acid-yellow brass. I'm telling my D&D group that this coin is minted in a different kingdom where they use a different alloy to harden it. We'll call it rose gold. Also, this is a really cool looking coin.
