- Will the filter reduce water pressure? I compared the shower with a fresh cartridge installed and with the cartridge removed, and I could not feel an obvious difference. Pressure usually drops later, when the cartridge has turned dark and is clogged with rust or sediment. - How often should the filter be changed? There is no honest fixed number for every home. In my experience, one cartridge can last at least 30 days, while poor water quality can darken it in about a week. - Three modes and a cleanable spray plate: I normally start with the wide rain-style mode, use the focused jet to rinse away soap, and finish with the mist-like SPA spray. The durable ABS body uses a 304 stainless steel spray plate that can be opened with the included tool. I have cleaned it myself when one stream sprayed sideways, and normal flow returned after the trapped deposits were removed.
- Pause and flow control I actually use: The handle button lets me pause the water briefly while bathing my child, and the flow dial helps when the spray feels too strong or too gentle. If pressure seems weak, first check the dial, then inspect the cartridge and spray plate. This high pressure shower head can make normal incoming water feel more focused, but it cannot repair very low building pressure. Close the wall mixer after use.
- When should you choose the 1+1 Starter Kit? I recommend it when you already have a suitable G1/2 shower hose and holder and want to try a filtered shower head without buying a large refill pack.
