I do not recommend it for a nose. And mind the powder gets solid on a bleeding area forming an instant solid scab, which you can easily wash with water but it may cause a further bleeding if you wash it too soon. **Q: Is this Yunnan Baiyao in powder form?** A: Yes it is. Quite a coarse grain which is designed to clog up the bleeding.Works quite well too. **Q: What is exp. date on this?** A: expiry date on mine is July 2018. I have used it once for a shaving cut and it was very effective. **Q: Can this be used on a leg ulcer?** A: Firstly, I am not a doctor and would recommend you seeking proper medical advice on this matter. I would say from personal experience of using this product, it is ideal for nicks, cut and scratches to stop blood flow and protect the wound while healing. It's designed to clot the blood and form a barrier to stop infection. My wife caught and ripped off her little toenail and it blead quite badly. I applied the powder and light pressure with gloves and it stopped within seconds. I don't think it will heal an ulcer, but if you are loosing blood from the site of the wound it may help. I know it's hard to get a doctors appointment in these sad times, but keep on trying. It sounds like you need to see a skin trauma specialist.
