It's lightweight and not a huge fluffy comforter. It's thinner but soft and fluffy. My little dog has now claimed it for himself and loves taking his naps on it. It is really soft and has those little circles to keep the loft in place. It perfectly completes my summer styled bed. But most of all, it's worth it to see his little face when he is on it.
