The zippers are strong, I let my 7 year old test them for about an hour, and this bag flattens for easy storage. I travel frequently enough to need a weekender, and this one is great. Upon opening the delivery box there was a manufacturers smell but that quickly went away (after my first trip using the bag the scent dissipated...I kinda liked that new luggage smell, personally). It has several pockets/ compartments and the microfiber cleans easily (I use rubbing alcohol to clean microfiber). This bag looks expensive enough that I recieved several compliments. I purchased the camel colored one. I recommend this product highly, so much so that I'm actually writing a review, which I never do. If you are thinking about getting a weekender, save yourself some time, buy this one! The faux leather feels durable as all get out. The metal clasps feel heavy and spring back with authority. Honestly, it feels like a rugged bag. Almost feels weird having the bag be so attractive and yet feel so solid.
