The material is soft and not absorbing. Cleans off well. Holds air/pressure well. Adjustable with the air pump. Did the job. Bag was a good size and you could stash other in flight items inside like charging wire and headphones. Easy to deflate and put away. I do not use it more because sometimes I can’t get comfortable with it. But that depends on the day. It has neck support at the back of the neck, and side support, I flew from CA to KS and back again using this pilliw. The thing that won me over was the ability to adjust the firmness without taking it off. It it needs more air, push the pump, if its too firm, push the release valve until it's the way you want it. Need a bit more air, pump a few times. Be sure the release cap is off or the pump will not pull air and inflate. It's pretty easy to fine tune the comfort level.
