It seems to hold a charge for about 5 days. It's impressively powerful, blending fruit, avocado and protein powder in seconds. I do wish it had a bit more capacity as I have to do two lots. It takes quite a bit of strength to tighten so that the arrow lines up and to unscrew as well.One thing that no one else mentions is that when you clean it, you really need to click out the little plastic circle at the base of the jar and rinse it. I did not do this and a bit of smoothie had remained trapped in there and when I started to put it back together to use, it smelled bad.
