I've hung it right in front of a large mirror and at night its glow is welcoming.But...The supplier really should have rethought the cord! It is 15 feet long (Yes that is right - no typo) and the dimmer switch is almost at the end. This cord had to be looped to two make shift hangers (none are supplied). Maybe this will get the lamp maker to improve the lamp and it would then be a wonderful addition to any home! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ No Instruction Manual. A bit confusing. It was easy to put together then I had my nephew help me hang it. I like that it almost invisible due to being clear. I used a vanity light bulb so you would not notice it either. The cord is very long so you should have plenty to spare. I have 9 foot ceilings and my outlet is not too far from the wall where it comes down. I just got some stick on cord clips to handle the unruliness of the cord.
