He is just the type of neurotic person who can handle something requiring the care that a salt block does (bought him all of the accessories too). Unfortunately, the block exploded before he even got to use it - he followed the directions exactly for preparing/heating it the first time, but the block burst during the process. And I missed the return window. So disappointed not to have gotten to try it, and unfortunately, it seems it is too late for me to reach out to customer service.
