As each bay will fit a normal 3.5 inch drive, you can also squeeze in a dual 3.5" to 2 2.5" hot swap SSD box (I use Chenbro's dual hot swap 2.5" cage) into each of these 3.5" bays, allowing an externally available stack of 6, count em, 6 2.5" drive slots. This allowed me to use: The top slot for my system drive, and I can easily change the operating system drive from XP32, to XP64, to Win7 64, to Win8. And the other slots for programs and storage, all on SSD's, making my systems respond instantaneously no matter what I am doing.
