Then made it to the startup test which said to set on full cold, but could not as the thermostat software also REQUIRES an internet connected cellphone to initially register and start the unit. So if you are installing the unit in a remote area, you might be out of luck like I was. After 2 days of painstakingly following the directions I was stuck for hours, almost went out to get a new basic thermostat before finding a way to get internet to the location.
