I decided in the BestNest 18 room Martin house.Assembly was a bit tedious, so instead of using the assembly screws the comes with it, I decided to pop rivet it together instead. It looks fantastic and a very robust Martin house.I also bought a 15’ Martin house pole from BestNest. I set the pole and pole sleeve in concrete, per BestNest’s instructions, and then mounted the Martin house a couple days later. On May 7th their home was destroyed by a tornado. Our house suffered severe damage as well but was still livable. Many homes in our area were not inhabitable including Herb and Rosie’s. Luckily the Martins weren’t at home when the twister hit which allowed me time to rebuild their house. The Heath Outdoor Purple Martin House was a perfect replacement. It features 12 room so the kids don’t have to share and still leaves room for guests. Delivery was prompt and assembly wasn’t too difficult. Of course I let Larry do that but I was there to lend moral support.
