It ran 24/7 until January 2013. Not expecting such a long life I had bought another in a garden centre closing down sale in 2005. That has been running 24/7 since the original one stopped working. On each occasion I had also bought an Aquamax 4500 as a lower powered stream pump. The original failed just a couple of years before the 10000 and its replacement has been working full time ever since.
