The backing liner covers the adhesive on the film so that the film does not prematurely stick. When you install the film, the backing liner needs to be peeled off from it. **Q: Can people see in at night? / Why is the interior visible from outside during nighttime?** A: If lights are on inside, the interior will be visible at night because it is brighter. Curtains or blinds can be closed at nighttime to block view.
