I tried spraying it with water and using a regular person fine tooth comb. It worked a little, and she let me do it, but it just wasn’t getting me far enough. Went looking for something and purchased this. As soon as it came in the mail I used it and made huge progress. I only did a little at a time so as not to traumatize the cat or make it hurt. Amazingly after just one day the big may of fur was gone.
