He loved it at first, but after only a few months he dropped it a few feet onto the kitchen floor and the bottom shattered. There have been no leaks whatsoever. If there is still water in the cap, there will be leaks coming out of cap. Speaking of the cap, yes I see why some people have given this bottle a bad review. The cap is very hard to twist on. You have to get it just right and twist it on slowly.I bring this jug from home to work and back everyday. This jug have hold up good. I handle it gently carrying it by the handle. I don't throw into my vehicle like a crazy person. I just place it down on the floor gently. For cleaning I just rinse the bottle by hand and let it air dry.
