They're thin (and you can make them even thinner if you squish them between your fingers before applying) and they don't leave a gross film in your mouth like waxI have to wear by braces for 24 months and I'm already on my 10th box. LOVE THESE MOFOS+++++++++Just got lingual braces. Felt like the Fruit Ninja was drunk in my mouth slicing and cutting me up. Wax disintegrated and tasted awful and was impossible to remove. This stayed put and felt like nothing. The dots kept braking when I applied them to my braces. Then I realized “reading is fundamental!” Only one side of the dot has the adhesive that will cause the dots to remain in place on your braces and if put on as instructed, it will NOT break. The side of the dot facing the clear side of the package is what you have to apply to your brace. I love it! And I’m so happen I slowed down to read the box before my trip out of country because I really needed these! I'm currently wearing braces for the 2nd time, 25+ years after the first time. These little, clear colored squares are absolutely amazing and after using, I will always be sure to have on hand. Before trying these, I was using gishy goo. And that was much better than regular ortho wax but when re-ordering at $20 for1 tube, with no prime delivery, I saw these and decided to try after my last adjustment left me with a very sharp wire that was killing me. For perfect application: dry bracket and be sure to place sticky side down. Press gently and use the moisture in your mouth along with light pressure from your tongue to mold it. Voila!! Within minutes you should feel relief. These little squares are the best things I have found and I literally have tried everything. Kudos to whoever invented this. Very good job. I encourage everyone suffering from brackets and sharp wires to try this product and I hope you're just as amazed and happy as I am right now. I got these on Thursday to place over a sharp wire that had gouged a hole into my lip. My lip was bleeding and hurt so badly, I could barely talk because the wire just kept catching the same spot. It's Saturday, the sore is almost completely healed and I can finally eat, drink and speak normally. I typically don't review products and I never rave on and on, but these little squares deserve major props!!!! No flavor. Super easy to use. Undetectable. Excellent packaging. Stays put all day long.
