**Q: Help:  One side of our house is 20 ft tall from ground to gutter. The ladder will lean against the house on an angle so what length should I buy?**
A: You should be ok with a 28' ladder. According to Tyler, 1' for every 4' in height. So 5' out would be just under 21' to the roof leaving you with over 7' of overhang.

**Q: How small does this ladder fold down to?, what is the height when not using it?**
A: It is 12 ft and it does not fold. The upper part lowers down onto the lower section. It is a very sturdy ladder and works well if you have to get to a tall roof or on the upper half of a two story. It is heavy but very stable.  We like it and find it much more stable and sturdy than our old aluminum ladder.
