Featuring a durable powder-coated aluminum frame and UV-resistant fiberglass mesh, it offers tool-free installation perfect for renters and homeowners alike. The magnetic locking flap ensures security while allowing pets easy access, and the insect-resistant mesh keeps your home fresh and bug-free. ## Description The Hakuna Pets V2 Patio Pet Door Screen turns almost any sliding glass door into a doorway your pets can use on their own. Instead of cutting into a wall or replacing your door, this screen insert panel slides straight into the existing sliding-door track, so a dog door or cat door is ready in minutes and comes out again just as fast. Built for real homes, the fiberglass insect mesh lets a breeze through while keeping bugs outside, so the panel doubles as a sliding screen door in warm weather. A magnetic centring catch acts as a self-closing flap, drawing the flap shut and holding it after every trip - the magnetic set-hold keeps pets where you want them, though it is not a keyed security lock. Because it is a no-drill, tool-free install, it is completely rental friendly and leaves no marks. Where it works: Renters who need a temporary, removable patio pet door with no permanent changes. Warm-climate and coastal homes that want airflow and a bug screen for the doorway, not a sealed glass door. Multi-pet households needing a doggie door and cat door in one, offered in three flap sizes. Sizing: Small flap 6.7 x 9.1 in, Medium 8.9 x 12 in, Large 11.2 x 15.9 in; 1.4 in step height on all sizes, with an optional bottom riser adding 3 in. Measure your pet across the widest point and from chest to shoulder, then choose a flap one size up for comfort. The adjustable frame fits most sliding tracks up to 84.3 in tall, in Black, Cream, White and Silver. In the box: V2 pet door screen insert panel, magnetic self-closing flap, fiberglass insect mesh, weather panels, and fitting instructions. ## Features - DOG & CAT DOOR FOR SLIDING GLASS DOORS - The Hakuna Pets V2 patio pet door is a full-height screen insert panel that drops into the track of most sliding glass and patio doors, giving dogs and cats their own doggie door without replacing your existing door - ideal for homes where pets want in-and-out access to the yard. - MAGNETIC SELF-CLOSING FLAP - A magnetic centring catch pulls the flap back to closed after every use and holds it shut, so the pet door stays neatly sealed against draughts and bugs between trips; the magnetic hold lets you set the flap closed when you want to keep pets in or out (a magnetic hold, not a keyed security lock). - TOOL-FREE NO-DRILL INSTALLATION - Sets up in minutes with no tools, no cutting and no drilling - the panel slides into your existing sliding door channel and adjusts to fit, then lifts out just as easily when you need your doorway back. - RENTAL FRIENDLY AND REMOVABLE - Because nothing is screwed or bolted into the frame, this temporary pet door is safe for renters and anyone who does not want permanent changes - put it up when you need it and take it down without leaving a mark. - FIBERGLASS INSECT MESH WITH AIRFLOW - The durable fiberglass insect screen keeps flies and bugs out while letting fresh air flow through, so you get a cool, ventilated home in warm weather - a mesh screen door and pet door in one. - THREE FLAP SIZES - S, M AND L - Pick the flap that fits your pet: Small 6.7 x 9.1 in (170 x 230 mm), Medium 8.9 x 12 in (225 x 305 mm), Large 11.2 x 15.9 in (280 x 405 mm). Step height is 1.4 in (35 mm) on every size, and an optional bottom riser adds 3 in (75 mm) - measure your pet across the widest point and from chest to shoulder first. - WEATHER PANELS INCLUDED - Slide the included weather panels into the frame to block wind, rain and outdoor elements when you want the opening closed off, so the same insert carries you across the seasons. - DURABLE UV-RESISTANT BUILD - A powder-coated aluminum frame paired with a UV-resistant flap and fiberglass netting is made to take daily pet traffic and sun exposure without warping or fading. - FITS MOST SLIDING PATIO DOORS - The adjustable-height frame extends to suit most standard sliding tracks up to 84.3 in (2140 mm) tall, making this sliding screen door a simple upgrade for patios, decks and back entries. - FOR DOGS AND CATS OF ALL SIZES - From small cats and kittens to large dogs, the size range and self-closing flap suit multi-pet households - a patio pet door that works for the whole family. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CS5LT52J | | Best Sellers Rank | #15,787 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #32 in Dog Doors | | Brand | Hakuna Pets | | Brand Name | Hakuna Pets | | Closure Type | Magnetic | | Color | White | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 428 Reviews | | Dog Breed Size | Medium | | Frame Material | Aluminum | | Item Type Name | Mesh Patio Pet Door | | Item Weight | 3.04 kg | | Manufacturer | PERMA Products | | Manufacturer Part Number | 5005 | | Material | Acrylic , Aluminum , Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) | | Material Type | Acrylic, Aluminum, Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) | | Mattress Thickness | 1.37 inches | | Maximum Compatible Thickness | 1.37 inches | | Model Number | 5005 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Pet Type | Dog | | Size | Small | | Target Audience | Cats, Dogs | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Hakuna Pets - **Color:** White - **Material:** Acrylic, Aluminum, Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) - **Mattress Thickness:** 1.37 inches - **Size:** Small ## Images ![Hakuna Pets Dog & Cat Door for Sliding Glass Door - Mesh Screen Insert - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Gas+z6vVL.jpg) ![Hakuna Pets Dog & Cat Door for Sliding Glass Door - Mesh Screen Insert - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71mZ9hA8QzL.jpg) ![Hakuna Pets Dog & Cat Door for Sliding Glass Door - Mesh Screen Insert - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61UW0b4z3GL.jpg) ![Hakuna Pets Dog & Cat Door for Sliding Glass Door - Mesh Screen Insert - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81VblynnGkL.jpg) ![Hakuna Pets Dog & Cat Door for Sliding Glass Door - Mesh Screen Insert - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Op4aLi6IL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - Hakuna Pets V2 Patio Pet Door Screen Insert Panel for Sliding Doors, Fits Door Track Min Ht 55.12" to Max Ht 84.25",UV Resistant Mesh, Locking Magnetic Dog Door, Easy Install and Removal, Small, White - PetSafe Cat Door for Screen Door - Size Small – for Small Dogs and Cats up to 30 lb – Use in Screen Doors – Window Screens and Porch Screens - PetSafe Original Replacement Flap, Dog Door Replacement Flaps, Doggie Flaps Made of Non-Toxic Material, Weather Resistant, (Size- Large) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/708525659-hakuna-pets-dog-and-cat-door-for-sliding-glass-door](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/708525659-hakuna-pets-dog-and-cat-door-for-sliding-glass-door) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
