This cutting device is in no way similar to the original. I successfully got 2 haircuts out of this one... it would have been far more comfortable to cut my hair with a weedeater. The original had two cross shaped blades which were self sharpening when run in reverse mode. My old one averaged 3 cents per hair cut. This one has averaged $40 per cut, I'm not man enough to rip my hair out with this device again. What a tremendous difference. I used it once it pulled my hair out I tossed it in the trash where it belongs. Also the Hose has also been cheapened up and cracked in two places just setting it up.
