I dont know if its leak-proof, haven't tested.  12-year old daughter loves the design.  It stretches to fit the binto boxes she uses and folds up easily for storage.  I wash it in machine in cold temp or hand wash & let air dry.  Mediocre insulation, they to use insulated food containers or cold packs.

Great investment, I use it daily for work. It stretches to accommodate many different sized containers, and bounces right back into shape. Very durable, it still looks brand new despite being used for almost 6 months now. I think I wash it maybe once every 6 weeks, and it’s in great shape.

Overall, this lunchbox was ideal. My Autisic daughter picked it out. She is attached to it, however doesn't carry it daily. The durability rating is based on sporadic usege.
