**Q: What is the blade length?**
A: 17” in scabbard overall; 15” tip to pommel out of scabbard; approx 9.5” tip to hilt (5.5” handle)

**Q: Does it rust easily??**
A: To prevent rusting it is wise to use mineral oil on the plade occaisionally.  If you actually use it, clean it and leave it wet, it will rust.. It is gorgeous.

**Q: What are the details of this blade? (answered from the manufacturer via email) it is true hand forged layered damascus 4340 and 420 steel, half tang.**
A: Nice blade, well made and balanced. Grip is deadly.

**Q: im assuming this is a rat tail tang?**
A: I'm pretty sure it is but  Gleep is right about the pommel.
