I've been looking for something like this for so long and so happy to have found it! Works like a charm, no more huge puddles everywhere and the height makes it easy to not have to use a shelf too. So easy to clean, so easy to refill and barely any any drops. If there are, it's because he stopped midway after seeing a squirrel enter peripheral. I would have given it 5 stars if it was a bit more deep to hold more water. We have a giant schnauzer with a huge full beard, and I can't tell you how often I've been woken up or startled by drippy kisses, or ended up with soggy socks from stepping in the trails of puddles he'd leave in his wake after getting a drink. It took him like 15 seconds to figure out this bowl, and his beard barely had a drop of water attached. It seems well made and is certainly more modern and attractive than a lot of the options available. If I could give 6 stars I would. This works for my well behaved older dog who splashes a little.For my 8 month old messy and rambunctious puppies, for whom I bought this product, it didn't work so well. When one of the puppies saw me place the inner piece in the center and she realized they were separate pieces, she picked it up and ran off with the center piece, spilling water everwhere.
