**Q: Is this product Cruelty Free?**
A: Hello,I cannot say with 100% certainty that all our waxes, oils, balms are completely cruelty free, but I can offer my knowledge of the products and industry to let you know why I believe that they are cruelty free.The only animal product that we use is USP Lanolin. The USP stands for United States Pharmacopeial Convention which sets the highest standards for medicines, food ingredients, and supplements in the US.“Lanolin is produced by washing the sheep's wool in hot water and using a unique detergent to remove anything trapped in the wool, such as dirt or sweat salts. It may also be extracted by using rollers to squeeze the sheep's wool to remove the oil. Bulk Lanolin is a popular product used in personal care, cosmetic and industrial applications.” From our vendor websiteIt also states that our source only uses Merino wool for the particular lanolin that we buy and after researching what I believed to be true. “Merino need to be shorn at least once a year because their wool does not stop growing. If the coat is allowed to grow, it can cause heat stress, mobility issues, and blindness.”So, the reason why I believe it is cruelty free is because the lanolin is extracted from wool that has already been shorn, a process that is necessary for the health of the animals. In line with a quote above, lanolin is a safe and natural byproduct that comes from the washing of sheared wool.As for our employees, we treat them very well with health insurance, food, and even clothing so we are most certainly cruelty free in that aspect ; )

**Q: How do I apply the stuff? I'm new at this face fur stuff.**
A: It depends what you are trying to do. I use this for daily keep it out of my mouth wax. Here is what I do:1) Heat it up! Either soak it in some hot water for a few minutes or use a blow drier. I resisted using the blow drier for a long time, but it is a huge time saver and really helps.2) Use your thumbnail to "bulldozer" a small amount, I usually do about 1/2 a pea at a time.3) Apply to moustache starting at the center and working out 1 side at a time, you need to work quick before it cools down and hardens, if it does harden, use the blow drier to soften it so it spreads. I usually end up using about (3) 1/2 pea scrapes per side.Once it cools and sets, your stach will survive almost anything, I have spent an entire day in and out of the water in the caribbean with no hair in my mouth.

**Q: How much product is in the can - a gram?  a teaspoon?  a mouth-full?  an ounce?  Thank you.**
A: This is a one fluid ounce can filled with moustache wax however, the net weight of the wax is .88 ounces. As another customer noted, it does last a long time.

**Q: Why does this smell like an ashtray ,it is off-putting? The yellowish wax shows in my White handlebar mustache.**
A: I'm sorry to hear that your wax smells like an ashtray. We do not scent the waxes but they do have a slight honey smell that comes from the beeswax. As others have answered, warming the wax will allow you to evenly apply it to the hairs which will help keep it from standing out on top of the hairs.
