The "serves 37" is misleading because that is for ONE tablespoon and I don't know anyone who only will eat ONE tablespoon of Alfredo sauce/soup/dip. I do know it is handy to keep on hand for last minute meal planning. I will be buying more when this is gone.... it is that good and that easy!! **Q: Looking for this to mix into my popcorn maybe as a sauce? Would that make soggy popcorn? and be better used as a powder?** A: Probably better used as a powder. The mix is designed to be used as a sauce made with water and from my experience, even the water/milk solids left when melting butter make for soggy popcorn. **Q: Shelf life?** A: I don't know how long it sat in warehouses or distribution prior to me ordering it in May of 2023, but mine indicates a best by 8/27/2024 date. Alfredo sauce is something I use all the time and the new powder is shelf stable, delicious, and very budget friendly compared to buying it in a jar. The Three Cheese sauce I bought not knowing much about it but thought I would try. WOW, talk about a delicious and versatile product. I have used just the powder to coat french fries before putting them in the air fryer and then while they are cooking I get some more and make a dip for "cheesy fries". I'll stuff burgers or meatballs with about a teaspoon of powder mixed with just enough water to get it to stick together before stuffing. I'll make the dip and put it on hotdogs or burgers instead of melting cheese. Just spread it on with a spoon. It makes a GREAT pasta sauce for spaghetti. I have also used the sauce in layers in a lasagna, just added a little semolina flour to the sauce as a thickener and a little garlic/onion powder to season it. So much easier than adding shredded cheeses and the taste is out of this world.
