Sight is nicely built, seems strong but I haven't tried to break it or knock it around. It lined up perfectly on my DPMS LR308 with its gas block rail that lies about 3/8 inch lower than the rail on the upper receiver where I have a standard height rear sight. Getting an adjustment tool between the "ears" was a little tight at first but I hadn't used this type of sight before so I'll put it off as a learning experience. I had to make a couple of adjustments at the range and didn't have much of a problem after a little practice pushing the pin down while turning the post.
