It's fall time when I planted, so it was more of an ideal situation for this type of grass so I can't speak of the performance in mid summer. Did minimal ground prep, dropped the seed in and gave it a medium amount of water. Within a few days and just spending a couple of minutes watering the areas I planted, I was already seeing grass sprout. Within a week, a lot of the grass was probably almost 2" tall. It didn't come up the most even, but it might of got pushed around a little bit when I was raking it in. I dealt with several different seeds and seed brands over the past couple of years, but I never seen one that germinated so quickly.
