Review: These just WORK!! No More Prilosec!! - Such an amazing and elegant solution to such a severe problem. This product has changed my life for the better and given me tremendous peace of mind. I cannot think the creators of this product enough for what they have given to me and millions of other people. Like many others, I was taking the PPI (proton pump inhibitor) omeprazole (Prilosec) for over 20 years. The Prilosec worked fine to keep my heartburn under control, but I have tried numerous holistic and dietary strategies to get off of these PPIs because all the reported problems with long-term use — studies have linked long-term use of PPIs to an increased risk of dementia, cardiovascular disease, and renal failure. I even wrote a blog post about the dangers of PPIs for elderly people (and everyone else) at https://www.farrlawfirm.com/dementia/caution-the-hidden-dangers-of-heartburn-medicine/ and my personal effort to try to get off of PPIs. Nothing has worked for me until these Orange Burps. I started by taking one capsule daily, and went cold turkey off of Prilosec. That completely worked for about a week, but then the heartburn came back, so I increased to two pills once a day (seeing as the suggested dosage is one or two capsules a day). That completely did the trick, and I have been off of Prilosec for at least 4 months With no heartburn symptoms. If I could give this product 10 stars, I would. I just hope that everyone who is taking PPIs long-term will find this product and switch to these in order to avoid the long term negative side effects of PPIs.

**Q: Does this come in a form that would go through a feeding tube?  Liquid?  Capsule with dissolvable powder?**
A: This product is in softgel form only. Some customers who can't swallow pills will pierce the softgels and empty the contents into water.

As for the feeding tube, Orange Burps is not approved for such uses, and we can't say whether it is safe to do so. The active ingredient in Orange Burps, d-limonene, is considered to be a safe ingredient by the FDA, but to our knowledge there is no published info on safety of d-limonene and feeding tubes.

**Q: How many grams of d-limonsene are in each pill**
A: There are I000mg/pill.

**Q: Does this work as well as Omeprazole?**
A: I gave it a shot for a week and I still had really bad acid reflux . In fact I was burping “ orange “ flavor it did not work for me.

**Q: Are these made with organic ingredients?**
A: Hello - they are not organic. The d-limonene in Orange Burps comes from a reputable, USA-based source and has a very high level of purity. These are minimally effective against reflux. They work for 30 minutes or so tops. One star because the orange flavor burps are kind of nice. Otherwise zero stars for expensive pill that doesn’t even work as well as Tums.
