A camp fire may be to hot and cook to fast but a stove with a med- low heat setting will work. The trick with uncooked dough is low and slow. You are not just toasting you are baking the dough. Have a Toas-Tite Great Day **Q: Can i use Pillsbury dough instead of bread or pie crust?** A: We have used frozen pie dough. Experiment! Use a very low temperature and a long time. Unlike bread you have to cook the raw dough. **Q: Are the handles wood?** A: Yes, the handles are American hardwood. They are from Maine.
